This is a very neat game and I'd suggest you consider to grab a copy before they're gone!

@boardgamegeek.com is there a way to remove a release year from a game listing? I am not seeing the option to leave the field blank.
A bit of research with Codinca in bed tonight.
We won’t go into the specific rules and details now, but if that’s something you’re interested in don’t be shy to reach out to become a playtester as we’ll be playing a lot of Towers throughout April!

📝 Our testing is focused on the vanilla base game for now. There is expansion content but we’ll get to that later. We agree w/ many of the areas they’d like to improve, so we're mostly evaluating the solutions they’ve proposed, seeing if they match the game’s original (and newly proposed) vision.

🃏 Here’s a quick side-by-side view of the cards from each version. @allplay.bsky.social’s dev team prepared a PNP for us to use but we chose to redo both their cards and our original ones so that new players wouldn’t have a bias towards either set.

🌞 At the end of last week we were back testing Towers of the Sun.
✂️ We had some prototyping to do in order to compare and contrast the version from Allplay’s dev team with our original turned in ruleset.
Ooooo love this theme! 📺💀👻

I won’t share all the potential rules changes here in this short update, but we’re testing some different selection rules for what you can take when you pull stones from the bag, along with a variety of different scoring and player elimination changes.

I was back to the physical #DragonEyes prototype over the weekend, continuing testing of Tim’s new, definitive ruleset. Here you can see the temporary prototype colors, before we begin experimenting with different paints to showcase the treasure’s more thematic colors.
Absolutely stunning. Beautiful beautiful work.
Amazing work. Spreading for visibility!

Once we had the cards completed, we fired up the TTS mod and made any additional changes required before we buckled down to study the new dev rulebook. Finally we got in our first game! It's an exciting time and we're eager to be testing more over the next weeks...

We began by reviewing their card tweaks & prepping them for use in our internal testing TTS mod. The cards in Towers are meant to be simple, & the current dev changes try to keep that while also striving to better incentivize fights & marge card play more into the spatial puzzle.

Friday saw us wrapping up the week by diving into our second round review of Allplay's development changes on #TowersOfTheSun...

This week I got the #DragonEyes mod closer to an up-to-date state, adding in:
- Curse Tokens (for point tracking)
- Per-Player-Count Score Cards
- Order Tokens
- Eye of Greed (the 1st expansion)
Next task is adding in the rulebook & the 2nd expansion, Family Heirlooms.
I've been impressed with how fast y'all have been moving to get the new studio running. Pretty inspiring stuff. Can't wait to see what the future brings for Buried Giant. Especially w/ the structure discussed in your recent design diary. This matches early convos we had at our first SPIEL together.

Here's a close up. Played a bit with the material settings in TTS but I don't ultimately this level of detail will be something to approach as we build the reviewer prototypes and pursue factory samples. Iconography tests coming next!

I'm updating our TTS mod for #DragonEyes to begin locking in the component list for quoting. Got the stones to be about the same shape as those in the designer prototype (similar to Mancala stones) and began applying our first draft of thematic colors.
Cooking a lot these days and right now getting my kale on. Anyone else cooking with kale and got good recipes?
Amazing work! 😍
Hot damn, your work is absolute gorgeous fire sauce!
I would love to work with you one day. Certainly following and bookmarking for the future... 🤞 But for today I will throw in a modest repost to help spread visibility!
Why, hello old friend. How exciting and emotional it is to fire you up once more... #TowersOfTheSun

Sure sounds like a great day!
Homemade ramen or restaurant ramen?
Super impressive work. 🖊️🤍
