It’s just a jeweller’s loupe held in front of the phone lens. Pretty clumsy but I quite like it and it all fits in a pocket.
It’s the 15x23 version here…

No bother. Had a reply from @forestjeffrey.bsky.social that says it’s probably a False Puffball slime mould.

Recently saw a mostly white black bird (with leucism). Apols for low quality pics.
In the past Slime Moulds were classed as a fungus (I think) but they’ve been recognised as something else entirely.
This radio show got me interested in them…
A view of a well camouflaged lizard in dry long grass after retreating from his sunny spot. Taken whilst crouched, with arms extended thru a barbed wire fence, so not a great pic but under the circs…

Massive and Tom Waits!
He’s a handsome boy! He can look quite noble when bribed with treats… doesn’t happen often tho.
That’s a lot of London rivalry going on there! Love that your dog supports a different team.
I’ll cross fingers for your dog and hope the Hammers stay up :)
Just looked it up, wiki says he’s 6ft 4in!
Oh wow 😂 - hadn’t heard of that before and can see why it’s got that name!
I walked by Tony Hadley in London once, he’s a giant!
