A sketched three-step mid-body TF sequence of a human male into a Leavanny. Panel 1: The male glances down into a cup he is holding that radiates lines of hot steam, while saying "Yummy tea!". He has unkempt hair and a T-shirt visible, but is otherwise standing in front of some sort of table. Panel 2: He drinks the tea, as his head rounds out, part of his hair converts into a leafy covering, his nose and visible ear shrink away, and antennae grow out of his head. The arm not holding the tea is starting to convert into the leafy arm of a Leavanny, while the one holding the tea is able to hold on with a single human thumb along with the rest of the leaf. Panel 3: The human, fully converted into a Leavanny, sets the tea down, realizing what has happened to them. Their shirt has mysteriously vanished, or perhaps melded with their body to form their dark green chitinous thorax. With one leaf arm holding the side of their head, and the other nearby to the tea, they nervously look at it and say "Uhhh... Refreshing...?"

Can safely say that Project Hail Mary's runtime (2.5h) is because they couldn't bear to cut any scenes out of their very cliche screenplay.
