Back at it again with my horrible no good very bad habit of ordering Crumbl cookies anytime a major disappointment occurs

Tad bit rusty, been too sad to pick up the guitar these past few months, but things really do seem to be looking up for me now so - time to get back to shreddin 🤘
i just don't think a girl like me should feel like this all the time
BAFTA pulling a trailer for an autobiographical game about surviving sexual assault only hours before it was said to be a part of a showcase is an exceptionally bad look.
we get it...you vape
we should invent an even longer dash only humans are allowed to use
I'm so sorry 😓 this industry is absolutely brutal right now. I know UberStrategist PR has some openings? Tagging @cjmelendez.bsky.social to see if he's got any leads 🙏
My husband was laid off and we’re kind of at a loss right now. If anyone has any leads on PR jobs, please reach out to him.
So I was just laid off from Vicariously.
If you‘ve got an opening in PR/marketing and want to hire someone who does good work and has a family to support, I’m your guy.
Any reposts super appreciated.
A girl (OC) reaching up toward a celestial sky, her and the giant stones she's standing on literally defying gravity. Just as an aside, Space is really cool.
💜🌟 reach for the stars this weekend 💫❤️
Thank you 🤘🔥

Just got moved to my 3rd and final interview for a job that would literally be a dream come true for me, ahhhhhhhh this is too much excitement for my poor 33yo heart oh my god 😭❤️
Science fiction as a genre doesn't predict the future, it reflects the collective anxieties of writers/readers regarding possible consequences and negative outcomes of future technologies. Humans fear replacement and powerlessness, so they write those themes into stories about AI, for example.

I didn't get to have the interview today unfortunately, but on the upside, I looked super professional
Today's interview could change my entire life and career trajectory, totes no pressure lol but I'm really hoping I land this one 🤞
Guaranteed fun right here.
Not the strangest thing I've ever had food wise, I lived in Gilroy for a while and at the Garlic Fest one year tried out some garlic fried rattlesnake on a stick, tbh I'd rate that higher than the pea milk, solid 6/10
While healthier and lactose free, I ultimately have to rate the pea protein alternative to chocolate milk I bought at the store a 4/10, tastes as miserable as it sounds, more expensive, and now I have to drink an entire half gallon of "chocolate pea milk"
Congratulations!!! 🔥
some things never change. for example: Chloe Price was exactly my type 10 years ago, and she still is 10 years later
I just really like it when videogames have little birds that fly away when you get close to them
In an era defined by the enshitification of technology that was once useful and easy to use, there is almost something reassuring about printers continuing to suck shit in the exact same way that they have for going on 40 years.
Apparently indie.io runs the platform and has its own games in the catalog earning playtime-based revenue as well. They benefit the most. If they changed it to a flat rate for being part of the service, plus bonus pay for playtime/engagement, that'd be better imo.

The next Steam Next Fest is happening in June:

You can also get better exposure by putting your trailer into indie game showcases. Depending on the subject matter of your game, @wholesomegames.com is a great one to consider submitting your trailer to.
To any future indie dev clients of mine, I strongly advise against this. It's a bad revenue sharing model, similar to Spotify.
You won't make as much as you would promoting full sales of your game, or get as much exposure as participating in things like Steam Next Fest with a free short demo.
This worship of efficiency kills creativity. Every transcript I have, every piece of research, I go over again & again, looking for detail, pattern, illuminating anecdote. It’s not efficient. I flail sometimes! But it’s essential. It’s how I learn to tell the story to myself, so I can tell it to you
No, this isn't it. I did years of consulting and marketing and writing everything from financial brochures to sports newsletters in client-specified voice, and was so good at it that I made a six-figure salary entirely from word of mouth. An "AI" isn't going to do any of that better than I did.
This is what social media is meant to be about.
I have an email and a website in-progress now too 🥹 I'm very overwhelmed but also very stoked
