"When people deny our stories, they're denying my truth. They're denying my abuses that I experienced."
Rejecting the full history of Canada's residential schools and the harms Indigenous children faced is a form of hate, say survivors ⤵️

A man holding a chicken, stands beside a blue heeler and in front of an old white church with a red roof on the otherwise barren Saskatchewan prairie.
This is the Rosefield Church. We are in the habit of saying we are from "Rosefield", but it doesn't really exist. It's just us: A husband and wife, a 15 year old, a 2 year old, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a rotating menagerie of livestock. Listen to me mumble about it on CBC here: www.cbc.ca/listen/live-...

Just any fyi, if you want to help a mutual get their news, message, or just a cute thing out into the bluesky, reshare them. Hearting them doesn't do this because there is no algorithm here. Get into the habit of reposting to boost others.
Everyone loves postcards! All the more reason to root for our postal workers right now. I had a buddy that was always traveling the world and sending them to me from wild places and he would include messages for my postal carrier, she loved it too.
Love it!
Hahaha no way! I've been handing them out at shows and stuff and love seeing them randomly pop up.
New friends! Hi! I'm Brad, I live in a 100+ year old church in the literal middle of nowhere/southwest Saskatchewan with my lovely family and a modest collection of animals. Here's a song from my latest record, Nuisance Ground, which is available on streaming services and also on bradproudlove.com ❤️
