It's hard NOT to play as a velociraptor in Terraria when that's a given option.

The Super Mario Galaxy movie doesn’t bother me because it’s really bad, it bothers me because it dares to be really bad while ripping the title from the most beautiful Mario game. With that said, Yoshi was cute and the Star Fox segment was cool.

I still get excited when I see Blender used out in the world in a professional setting. It's hard to wrap my mind around the fact that it's no longer an underdog.

Not an alien movie, but I think The Shawshank Redemption was the movie that made me realize you can have a very thoughtful, emotional and resonant film without a poignant ending. Sometimes a movie just needs a joyful cathartic ending. Project Hail Mary had me worried but it delivered!

Xeno was really corny but could have still won me over if they just focused on the gimmick instead ruining it just to tie a bow on their B-plot. That's a movie that desperately needed a happy ending, instead they focused on an element I didn't care about and bittersweet ended up just being bitter.

Sometimes movies will get really close but fumble it in the end. Elio really frustrated me because, despite the production issues, the story they ended up with felt like a really good first draft.

Man, I want to see it again. (Spoilers) I have a list of things that define the perfect buddy-alien movie for me and this checked all of the boxes. It's not a perfect movie by any means, but it hits all the right beats. Especially their dynamic. I can definitely see this being a comfort watch for me

Project Hail Mary was pretty good. It's pretty easy to win me over if you have a friendly alien with a cool design.

Almost every “good celebrity“ story I’ve read has been something like “I know they’re a good person because I saw them again a year later and they remembered my name!”.

I do not appreciate this metric of morality in the slightest.

So far everyone I’ve ever met who said “I’m also terrible at remembering names!” has been lying to me. If you remember my name an hour later, you are not at the same tier as me. That’s stolen valor.

I think digital synthesizers would be so much nicer to use if more of them went for a node-based interface instead of relying on skeuomorphism.

Definitely an upgrade over manually editing the points in the mesh points array.

Just beat Metroid: Zero Mission. Got the bad ending, but I don't care. That game was awesome.

I'm finding it harder and harder to get up to date information on programming forums. I'm guessing many of the people that would have previously gone to forums for help now rely on Ai. As a consequence there's less up to date information available. This worries me.
