She hums in agreement as she takes another sip.
"Yes I have, not often but yes." She nods. Always a little sad to see people corrupted like that.

"A little, enough to get by."
Enough to use the bloodgem and avoid people using magic against her from succeeding, though the gem helps with that too.
Now that she knows plenty about, sort of. After all that's why she now has the bloodstone gem that gave her family their last name.
"That and nature, makes sense." She nods slowly as she takes a sip of her scotch.
For now he's human enough.
"Can't say I have much experience with those."
She pushes the glass over to him as she takes her own.
She nods and orders herself a scotch before ordering him a heavy cocktail.
"Noisy? Spirits?"
"That it has been. What do you drink, nowadays?"
She asks as she turns to look at him for a moment.
She's got a drink waiting for him.
Right now, nearest bar.
She's got decent booze and a safe space where they could.
Welcome to the club.

Raising her sword to protect herself and cut off the thralls arm.
--
It's been a while since she's been face to face with a vampire like that. There's too many versions of them, besides some of them are smart enough to stay out of trouble.
She groans as she gets hit by one of the thralls, only to quickly turn and hit them again.
--
She makes quick work of the last thrall she was facing before she steps up right behind him to help. She's quick to take on the other thralls. Quickly slicing through two of them as she gets closer to behind him. She looks over at the vampire though for a moment.
--
--
"I wasn't planning on it!" She calls as she makes quick work of the thrall on her right, the head coming off with a quick slice, before she turns to face the last one.
"I've got this, go on." She calls as she dodges another grab from the thrall in front of her.
She's quick to catch herself when they land, standing ready to attack with her sword in hand. Not a moment too late as the figures come at them. She's quick to dodge and quicker still to slice with her sword, the first losing an arm and the other a hand as she passes between the two of them.

hunters are solitary, coming together at moments like funerary hunts only.
"Good luck convincing them." She motions at the other hunters, taking her seat at the table in the other room.
--
She can't quite tell if that's a relief or a terrifying idea, to be compared to a version of herself she doesn't even know. It's a question that's been burning in her mind since she accepted the invitation. Would there be hunters who know her? In general in her own world,
--
"I do not judge them based on their looks, I judge on actions, safety." She pauses and narrows her eyes as he starts to say something about her.
"What do you know about me? We have never met." Unless he knows the other her... from this universe.

they barely knew the other her if she had to guess from the journals she found. All but banished and disowned by her father, possibly the wider hunting community despite her fierce fight for them. This would be a disaster....
--
Would rather live in ignorance than with the knowledge such things exist?
As he turns to head into the other room she decides to ask anyways.
"Why do you care?"
Asking her to keep an open mind because if she does so will the others... She doubts that, they don't know her,
--
She frowns, crossing her arms as he speaks as a question pops into her mind. One she's not sure she'll like the answer to.
"Talking? Negotiating.. and then what?!" She needs another drink. What's the use of talking and negotiating when the wider world doesn't want to see them?
--
--
"Then what do you suggest we do? With those who no longer look human? With those who feed on humans? With those who kill humans either for food or for sport? What is the alternative?"
--
Maybe she does think of them as less than, but to keep that divide she has been raised to do anything. Any means necessary. She's no longer a real part of either camp, she's simply the soldier, the enforcer standing between them.
