Just a question, wouldn't it be better to leave them as read-only and leave them to rot? Many abandoned unofficial ports of RSDKv4 to other platforms already do that for example (i.e. that one Wii U port). You could just make one final commit which renames them to [OUTDATED/ARCHIVED] or something.
