Of course. But this stuff doesn’t even have toxicity levels established.

NO. Don’t use on .com sites for Ibogaine. Use the actual scientific literature. That site looks slick, and has some concerning wording for AI (and having seen how AI summarizes my own research, that is a problem). The contributors don’t list their institutions or potential conflicts of interest. 🚩🚩🚩

Scientific literature isn’t there yet as therapeutic
dosage hasn’t even been established. We’ll see, but given the for profit, stock market status of the company with their woefully inadequately experienced board for addiction or PTSD, I’m skeptical. The ketamine clinics messes have been bad enough

Librarian kid here. When I got to college, I never returned a book on time because in my childhood the most interesting books showed up on my kitchen table for reading and got magically returned when I finished. As soon as my college librarian understood this history she took me under her wing.

Librarian’s kid. Can confirm. They are amazing.

We all should

And. That isn’t even a blip on the scope of it, unfortunately. We’ve got to right a mountain of wrongs.

And if you want to go down the rabbit hole even further, look at Ghislaine’s two sisters who live/d in the United States. Check out the industries they’ve been involved with and their past partners. It’s a trip.

And he’s in all the rooms right now, with no official capacity. It’s very troubling.

Yes. And. Pretty much every choice Jassy has made is anti-worker and has impacted a lot of people. Plus, he is the drive behind their ridiculous AI expenditures and mishaps.

Seriously.

1 day ago 0 0 0 0

Oh, yeah. Of course. I just don’t understand how Jassy has flown under the radar of scrutiny since he took over as president and CEO of Amazon YEARS ago.

Just a reminder that pedophilia was only a small part of what Epstein and Maxwell did. They acted as brokers for moving phenomenal amounts of money without international government oversight while collecting blackmail for future “deals.” Who fills that role now? Is it Jared and Ivanka?

Who cares. Men’s hockey demonstrated who they were repeatedly.

Go for it.

Bezos is bad, but the new CEO of Amazon is worth knowing about because he is somehow even worse. Andy Jassy.

It’s also hubris. They believe themselves better and more confident than other people. The main way to maintain that farce is to surround yourself with people who you pay and they always tell you you are right.

The National Science Foundation which funds a quarter of all basic scientific research in the country is being dismantled.

Yeah. I suspect our first case came in before it was known to be in the US because we had a case with unexplained drops in O2 saturation and post exertional malaise. Our unit came down with it well before testing was available and I had a stint with long Covid before we knew that was a thing. Sucked

And this: “these results overlap with a recent systematic review that specifically analysed the adverse effects of ibogaine”

1 day ago 0 1 0 0

Yeah, I already read that. Only two research studies qualified as high enough quality to be included in the Meta analysis and the total number of research subjects? 47. Did YOU read it? “our results showed a high risk of mortality mainly related to the cardiotoxicity of ibogaine”

Fine then. Cite your sources. I’ll read them IF they are published in peer review journals and follow basic standards like PRISMA.

Next to them. Even when we use the same operating system and device model, we came up with different information. I got solid medical research or legitimate sites like Mayo Clinic. A lot of my patients got misinformation about various snake oil claims. It was awful. Algorithms are not our friends.

I worked in an inpatient hospital neurorehab unit when Covid hit. The amount of misinformation was crazy. Because we often discharge patients without available follow up due to shutdowns, I would sit and teach people how to find legitimate medical information online. I would model what to 1/

They don’t have to, but markets do need guard rails and regulations the US has either failed to put in and implement or, more recently, ripped up. Denmark’s Novo Nordisk, for example.

There are survivor statements noting they do not have a full list because they haven’t been able to put names to all of the faces, unfortunately. It really is a hallmark of child trafficking that separates it from child abuse by pastors, relatives, or coaches.

I get my information from scientific research that is peer reviewed. The .com sites on other treatment fads have proven to be marketing, masquerading a science in the past. And there is VERY little high-quality research on Ibogaine.

The half life alone, renders it more like methadone and will require close monitoring afterward

Nobody understands the dosing yet in the research. At least not in anything published. But the half-life is very long, which is extremely dangerous in population with addiction history. This is being pushed for monetary reasons.

1 day ago 0 0 1 0

So they educated you about the half-life then? Because this thing is like methadone and will require monitoring in a population with a history of addiction. It is going to be expensive on top of being questionably safe.
