Let's elect a record amount of Glasgow Green MSPs, & trump Reform across the city on the 7th May โ

Tori Amos popped into my partner's work at the Scottish Design Exchange, & loved the art & staff so much, gave them & the artist a backstage pass๐

Headline "when Donald trump accused a Scottish politician of blasphemy"
An AI picture of Donald trump as jesus
I remember when Trump cried "blasphemy" at Patrick Harvie for making a Monty Python meme about him.
Now, he wants to pretend to be Jesus?
I know, hypocrisy for the world's most corrupt leader isn't much cop these days, but surely this is too far for some of his so-called Christian supporters?

Patrick, Holly, and Iris holding the manifesto to camera smiling.
Today, Greens launched our manifesto in the Barras, with our regional candidates @patrickharvie.bsky.social , @hollybruce.bsky.social , & @irisduane.bsky.social leading the call to Vote Green on 7th May for a real radical alternative to Reform ๐
See our manifesto below ๐

Reform's own Councillors would be expelled from Glasgow City Council for lack of attendance if their work from home policy was in place.
Vote for hope, not hypocrites on the 7th May ๐

Another fabulous time chatting to residents in Dennistoun, many keen to go Green on May 7th - and a fair few posters put up on the spot in flats! ๐
If you'd like a Green poster for your window, give me a DM and I'll get one to you ๐ซก

Thanks so much to the Northern Irish Greens for joining Scottish Green candidates & activists in Dennistoun today talking to residents ๐
So many Green voters in Dennistoun - folk want MSPs fighting for action on rent, buses, & Whitehill Pool. Glasgow's Green MSPs will fight for this and more โ

Anas Sarwar says I am the Artemis rocket in election campaign
For context (ironically being said at the very spot we are campaigning tonight!)
Anthony with two activists with leaflets in hand smiling at the bottom of Whitehill St in Dennistoun
Only one month to go now - Dennistoun doesn't want a self-proclaimed "rocket" running Scotland.
They want to get rent controls done, buses run for people not profit, & see Whitehill Pool back โ
Glasgow's Green MSPs will fight for that - vote Scottish Greens with your regional ballot on 7th May ๐
Anthony addressing the Save Whitehill Pool meeting
Thanks to Save Whitehill Pool for their update meeting last week ๐
We need to rally the community around a preferred option & have all levels of Government work to fund that plan ๐
Hey, I was told the party cannot afford to stand in constituencies, and is why they aren't.
I also do wish we had a Green candidate to vote for locally!

๐ PASSED ๐
Glasgow Greens' motion in support of Trongate 103 has passed, with ยฃ200k of property support for cultural organisations.
However we also want a long-term solution & urge City Property to make a sustainable future of Trongate 103 in the interests of culture not capital โ
Election cheat Alistair McConachie at it again.
The electoral commission is a toothless organisation, that must be reformed or replaced with an organisation that will actually hold up our democracy.
Usual from usual in Glasgow Labour.
Want actual radical change in Glasgow Southside? Vote for @hollybruce.bsky.social ๐โ

Scottish Green Councillors & Candidates supported the rally to save Trongate 103 today โ
Our Councillor Group have tabled a motion seeking urgent action for Trongate 103 from the Council & City Property, & get Glasgow's culture thriving with investment & support across Governments again ๐
City Centre Councillor Christy Mearns stands with the tenants at Trongate 103. โ
Here, Christy sets out some of the urgent action our motion at this Thursday's Full Council meeting calls for. ๐
This chancer is only where he is because he bought himself a Lordship off Boris Johnson to get into power.
He has no interest in serving people, only himself - and he is a nasty piece of work.
Get this bigoted, clueless clown cast out of our politics on 7th May.
We've 45 days until the Scottish Election.
A couple of hundred votes on Glasgow's regional list could be the difference between an Eco-socialist MSP like @irisduane.bsky.social or a Reform MSP.
I hope folk who want to defeat Reform as we saw in Gorton & Denton back the Greens on 7th May ๐
We need more public toilets in our parks. ๐ฝ
Greens have been championing a public toilet strategy - now we need to make it's actions come to life for everyone to enjoy Glasgow's parks with a basic amenity ๐
Map showing SNP on 67 seats, Greens 18, Reform 18, Labour 11
It's less than 50 days until the Scottish Parliament election - and it's neck & neck between Greens and Reform for 2nd place.
If you've heard all the wild, made-up nonsense from Reform's candidates this past week & sick of it - the best way to defeat them is voting Green on the Regional list ๐
60s Who at its height - still experimenting with story ideas from comedy to cosmic horror with a cosy crew to boot.
Vicki is a revelation compared to Susan, & we have the happiest departure in the whole show with Barbara & Ian.
For once the BBC didn't bin most of it, and neither should you!
Anthony speaking beside heritage and hope statue in Springburn station
About 10 years ago when I was on Springburn Community Council, I heard the Heritage & Hope statue was in storage.
After years of hard work from Mandy McIntosh, the statue is back permanantly in Springburn station.โ
Now to make Springburn station accessible so everyone can enjoy it! ๐
