I hear the new Wacom Movinkpad Pro 14 is good, can be used connected to a 'puter but also can work as standalone android tablet. 120hz oled screen with textured surface. Not ipad Pro M5 performance but few things need that.

HUION Kamvas 13 Gen3 2024 here and found it a better product than my previous screen tablet, a cintiq pro 13.
And the pen of both of those feels better to me than the ipad I used, which was on a 2019 Ipad Air.
60hz screen means slower visual response rate than you'd get on an ipad pro.
