To help give some context:

Xbox is wired, but lag effects wireless devices

We use our own router that’s capable of 10gig speeds, double what the modem can do

It is only when downloading on Xbox. Anything else works just fine

Install speed fluctuates from anywhere between 2kbps and 500mbps

They put in a brand new line when they installed everything

We had Xfinity before and the speed was alright, but most importantly consistent. Now when installing updates on Xbox, the speed goes up and down, from like 2kbps to 600mbps. And with Xfinity, I could download things without messing with the rest of the house. Something ain’t right

It doesn’t matter the size. I know it’s something between our new internet and my Xbox because the moment I pause the updates, everything returns to normal.

I have come to learn that when installing anything on my Xbox, even game updates, not only are the downloads crazy slow, but it seems to slow down my entire internet, to the point I can barely pull up things. Starting to think AT&T Fiber isn’t as good as they claim

Gamer snek for attention

She loves her kimonos, but doesn’t like wearing them if she’s just doing errands. She doesn’t want to get them dirty on a train or get caught on a shelf at the store. Her favorite casual clothes are jeans and t-shirts 💜

Today was mostly chill, but my internet kept having hiccups and some of my games kept having glitches. Got two doc appointments tomorrow 😞

It’s been a week. Sunday got ready for my trip. Monday drove down to Florida. Tuesday went to a funeral. Wednesday drove back to Atlanta. Thursday through Saturday was lots of errands. All in 90 degrees and pollen.

Wasn’t all bad. Got to drive a Rivian and buy my first 40k minis 😊

Thanks! I’m really proud of the pyerblaster. Figured out some good tricks to use for the rest. I also got some Salamander conversion sets, but I dunno how to use the parts on these minis. The heads I guess I glue, but the shoulders and arms?

Yesterday I went to my local Warhammer store and got my first set of minis, as well as a starter paint set. Here’s my first finished one! Was going for Salamanders, but Waagh! Flesh feels too Dark Angels. Gonna just order the specific colors online because it’s hot here and I wanna stay inside 🤣

Honestly, I got nothing. I’m tired and the anxiety trigger was a pretty rough one. Learned a streamer I follow lost family in a bad event, which has me all upset now. Why do I always get hit with negative stuff right before bed 🥺💜
