Diving Machine G5 at Janfusun Fancyworld may be my favorite coaster in Taiwan. It may be fairly short and basic, but it's really fun and rerideable.
And that view!
Folks from the UK may recognize this model, though this installation is VERY different...

It's no secret that I generally enjoy a good Disk'O Coaster. Not as huge of a fan of the Pipe Scream variants though.
But what if you were standing up & facing outwards on one?
That's what you get with Aerocraft at Chuanlord Tourism & Leisure Expo Park!

Happy Top Thrill Dragster Day to all who celebrate!
Got a work trip this week, but you better bet your bottom dollar there will be some coastering involved!
How are your actual wait times comparing to the posted wait?
I am now immensely curious.
I never used to really at all like spinning rides, but over the years I have learned to appreciate and even enjoy some of them, like Le Twist at Le Pal, a really charming little theme park & zoo in France that I really would love to get back to someday.

The craziest part is the lockers only work with cards that have a magnetic stripe! No tap-to-pay in 2026 should be criminal.
How many people go about their daily life just paying for everything with their watch or phone now and may not think to bring a physical card into the park with them??
Janfusun Fancyworld is one of the more notable parks in Taiwan thanks to its two B&M's: Diving Machine G5 & Insane Speed. But they also have an S&S Space Shot called Sky Jet that gives you some great views of the park & surrounding area!
Check it out!!

I was simultaneously hit by that realization AND the Jack Sparrow appearance out of nowhere. (It's a fair bit more obvious on a repeat ride, but was still a pretty good wow moment.)
Hopefully you get the chance soon!
Inarguably one of the most impressive rides Disney has ever built is Shanghai Disneyland's Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure. This ride has such a sense of scale & spectacle, bridging screens and practical effects to great success! You gotta check it out!

Remember when footlongs were $5?
Can't even stay under $5 with a single tortilla, a light sprinkling of cheese, 4 little pieces of chicken, and a squirt of sauce.
I remember when the chicken quesadillas were a premium offering at $1.89.
Every so often, you do a ride that turns out to have been an extremely bad idea.
Like Monkey Brings Good Luck at Leofoo Village!
It's a cycle monorail (meaning you pedal the whole time) overlooking all their monkey exhibits, but it was extremely hot & humid (felt like 105+)!!

I was gonna suggest maybe that explains some of the roughness, and then I remembered it was an SLC we were talking about. Lol
Sometimes you find a coaster that looks absolutely incredible. The setting. The theming. The landscaping.
But then the ride itself is just not at all pleasant.
Say hello to the beautiful but bad Maya Adventure at Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village.

Episode 2 is now public for everyone!!
Go check out all my challenges getting to Shanghai and then my first (and still only) experience at Shanghai Disneyland!

Well a lot of posts over the past several years make a lot more sense now...lol
This is a POV that I actually think is really sick.
Jungle Trailblazer is a very intense (but still pretty fun) woodie at Fantawild Asian Legend in Nanning, China.
This park is super cool for a number of reasons, including this ride, and very much worth checking out!

Jardin d'Acclimatation is a cute little park in the middle of Paris, and Fils du Dragon was a fairly standard Wacky Worm they put in as a temporary placeholder (though surprisingly-nicely themed!) while constructing their new Gerstlauer family coaster.

I mean, honestly is there anything halfway decent in all of Magic Kingdom?
I feel like most of the time I would end up getting a hot dog before jumping on the Riverboat (RIP) or a chili cheese dog from Casey's at the end of the night.
Not exactly fancy faire.
Chili Cone Queso + ice cream cones aren't a terrible option.
I will completely forgive you if you skip this one. I'm honestly not even sure why I filmed it, much less posted it. Lol.
But the WOW Tour Train takes you between the front and back sections of Taiwan's Window on World Theme Park. And that's about it.

Got distracted and forgot to share this yesterday:
When I visited Lotte World Adventure Busan, I didn't get to ride their Blue Fire clone due to the rain, but I was able to ride the Mysterious Cookie Train!
(No, this didn't make up for missing that.)

I would just go with a poncho (or two if you want to better cover your legs/feet)
I had my own, so I don't recall noticing if they sold some there or not. But several people whipped out umbrellas, so I guess those are allowed too?
"Moon's Haunted"
Crazy Waves at Guangzhou Sunac Land looks like a fairly plain flume ride at first glance. But then you notice it's listed on RCDB and go hmmmm....
Turns out there's a lot more to this ride than meets the eye!
Is it worth it? You be the judge!
