As promised I read this fantastic paper by @dingdingpeng.the100.ci next. An inspiring use of clear language to describe a complex problem. Also a great reminder in general to be clear about the assumptions plating a role in your research.

In east Asia, we would expect a suit and shirt.
And certainly in Japan hide your tats. Earwear is okay, but probably not other facial piercings.

Perfect. Love the colour. And pretty much every chain store box ticked: Jins, Aoyama, Asahi cycles, Paris Miki, Seria, Uniqlo, Hama sushi, Sukiya drive through, Coco. Probably just needs a Welcia and a 東京靴流通センター

An April Sunday is the moment to buy a colander-scoop of fish from the unmanned メダカ屋 結之 store near Arakawaoka station, pop a 1,000 yen note into the honesty box and bring them home.

Archaeologists Found a 745-Year-Old Shipwreck from a Famous Failed Invasion The ship was sunk by the “divine wind” that saved Japan from the Mongol invasion of 1281.

Thought this was fascinating.

'[Extracted soil] deposits contained...undecomposed organic matter, inc. fish bones from meals eaten [on board], fragments of leather, wooden tools, chopsticks, and flakes of lacquer. These remnants promise a window into the daily texture of life on a doomed vessel'

Agreed that age is a factor. Sunderland, though is in the top 3 even if we focus on the over 65+. I'm not saying that Sunderland is wrong, only that there's a lot to learn from the variation because it suggests that Blue Badge schemes are being managed very differently around the country.
