It's a great book. Full of detail interspersed with the tragic stories of those living in the various villages. Highly recommended for anyone interested in the KG's of the Leibstandarte division and the US defence in the Ambleve valley.

I lived near a garrison town in the south of England as a child and became interested in the military. That then developed into an interest in the Second World War as well as military modelling which has now morphed into an interest in WW2 naval history and naval modelling. I got there eventually!!
