I think the difference with Trump is that his entire administration and support staff are just as cruel, ruthless, corrupt, and power hungry as Trump. They carry out Trump's worst impulses and decisions. Don't forget the Project 2025 hymnal that they are all singing from.

Imagine the number of Trump loyalists that have been installed inside our government. How many people will have to be removed once Democrats gain power again? It must be done. We can't allow their incompetence and destructive thinking to remain in place, or nothing will change.

They are clearly not paying attention to what the voters said yesterday. Even Trump told the Republicans that the shutdown was being blamed on the GOP. Their action should not be to end the filibuster but to negotiate with Democrats on the ACA increases. But they won't!
