Can we stop using "incredible" as a synonym for "good" please?

I support quarantining Steyer in California.
This man is singlehandedly keeping you in business for the next 50 years.
@ahjohnson.bsky.social
Can you make the frogs gayer?
These are not vernaculars. There is no cultural equivalence between our use of words. The words you're using betray a lack of understanding. You tried to correct someone who knew more than you, and now I'm yelling at you about it.
The whole point of this argument is that you denied that there has been a major opinion shift among liberals. There has been a shift among liberals. There has been no shift among progressives and socialists.
Again: you are not the world (by which I mean you are being solipsistic and arrogant, not that you should consider the political definitions of other parts of the world)
Being unable to distinguish between distinct groups with distinct political philosophies, organizational histories, and practices is not descriptivism. It's ignorance.
Which one? I mentioned several groups/categories.
I would absolutely not call NYC Labor Against War "liberal".
Because they are in fact liberals. They believe in soft nationalism, free-market capitalism, and individual rights guaranteed by the State. That's liberalism.
Or maybe people who like "Hamilton"
You said "engaged liberals". Do you believe that that is equivalent to "progressives and socialists" or are they a subset of "engaged liberals" or the other way around or what, because "engaged liberals" isn't a category that makes sense other than for like Rothbardians.
The polls ARE irrelevant, because they're still categorizing people solely as liberal/conservative/independent, when the question is whether socialists and progressives are categorically distinct from liberals!
Because you think socialists and progressives, the only Americans who have ever given a fuck about Palestine, count as "liberals" and the recent shift among actual liberals (which you might call "moderates") to supporting Palestine didn't happen.
Rather than admitting that you don't know what the fuck you're talking about, you googled two irrelevant polls that have nothing to do with what I said.
Consider the existence of an event like this: laborforpalestine.net/2004/05/
Progressives and socialists were a distinct category from liberals prior to 2016. Palestine has been a cause celebre for socialists for decades and progressives have also been sympathetic for a long time. If you lump all these together with "liberals" you're just wrong.
When I said "Your ignorance is not the world" I wasn't telling you to consider non-American politics. I was saying that you don't know what the fuck you're talking about and you're arrogant about it.
I am also American and I'm talking about America. You need to understand that if this is what you believe then you are horrifically ignorant about political categories.
Yes. In America. Stop.
No, liberal and progressive was not synonymous, and there were many socialists. Just no. Your ignorance is not the world.
Are you talking about liberals or about progressives and socialists? These are different groups.
Yes. The point is that liberal voters should abandon the liberal leaders.
The reason for doing so is that it implies liberals should not be in charge of the resistance to the problem they facilitated. They have proven their incompetence, and it's time for them to either step aside or, if necessary, be pushed aside.
It would also make sense that since words like "inmate" have a negative/stigmatizing connotation, that using "justice involved" may have been intentional specifically because it's about veterans, who are Ontologically Good. These scam artist politicians understand all this. Just speculating though.
Unfortunately, your plan mathematically does not result in a budget of $0.
When did we vote on, or were even polled on, how many carrier fleets we should have?
