Lol, yes. I certainly did not quit on my first try. I had to take a number of bashes at it before it stuck. But once it did, I was over it completely. Weirdly, I still smoke in my dreams sometimes. But when I do, I feel guilty and don't enjoy it. Strange.
I had a different experience. Once I quit, it took me three weeks to get over the craving. Then it was just *gone*. I have never wanted one since, not even in those weird trigger places that would have kneecapped me on previous attempts.
