oh it was even better when I got assigned on mail routes that start their shift at 5.30, that "there at 6am" bus is literally the first one so if I couldn't arrange a carpool I'd have to cycle 7km in the middle of a Finnish winter 🫠

I used to have to wake up at 5am to catch a 5.30 bus to be at work by 6 which I'm pretty sure counts as a form of cruel and unusual punishment

I think this is really important, and I'm worried it's never going to filter into the mainstream: Finland is producing studies that their researchers claim cast doubt on gender affirming care for youth, but they hide the ways their idiosyncratic approach itself could be to blame.
