Next year is a huge one for Branthwaite. If he can get back for pre season and have a proper full pre season to get fit and ready for the season, that's the best chance of having an injury free year. But if he does and keeps getting injured still then it's tough to see how he can have full seasons

Thanks, good news!
This was my joint favourite song from 2025 such a beautiful song
That 4th quarter performance was ๐
Which is why I think they need more margin for error in terms of the amount there to be offside. When things are tiny like they are and people can be off by a mm and there's so many unknowns like release of the ball etc just give it bigger margin needed for offside to reduce the potential errors
Agreed!
@giuliabould.bsky.social said earlier on that it wasn't a concussion sub but done because of swelling. So if that's the case then he wouldn't be missing games because of concussion protocol but more around how his vision is affected or not if it's still swollen
And that will be because they often or have been for results vs those teams that affect what they do in terms of finishing above them in the league, winning a title, winning a cup finals or progressing to one. Fans 21 or under for us won't remember us being in a final and only remember 2 derby wins
I think this is heightened because we haven't won anything for 31 years. Then add on not in Europe for almost 10 years, not been to a semi final even in 10 years. So there's so little games with tangible success or potential of it. Which means these derby games become everything to people
Definitely! I do think strikers can't be one dimensional, he's a huge threat in behind and more work was needed to work those situations. But when that's not on you need them to offer more which he has done the last month or so. They'll likely get a more complete forward in the summer to support
I wonder if the Magic played badly in the play in against Philly and incredible against Charlotte to avoid us?? Also I think when teams have 2 play in matches and a team not played for about 10 days it can catch them cold if one team is play off ready essentially after 2 games
I love these clips. The fact that they are so welcoming and he's basically part of the locker room, same with Evan Horford when he was around. Just shows how much of a family feel it is and the bonds they have together to help build the foundation of being so together and there for each other
Problem is with Beto, when he's scoring his all round game becomes much better. When he's not scoring he turns very bad all round game. Someone like DCL scoring or not was ok at most things and a solid forward (forgetting the finishing!). Can never knock Beto's effort just swings heavily the level
I saw plenty of Europe is done which I think was emotions of losing like that. 1 point behind 5 to play. Chelsea are poor at the moment with a bad manager. Brentford not flying. Fulham always hit and miss. Bournemouth on a run and some good fixture. But potential 6-8 to claim it certainly to go for
That was definitely the quietest Liverpool away end I can remember. I believe they are pissed off at the season, finished with slot and fuming at the owners around ticket prices increasing. And the first time they seemed to think we'd win. So probably a mix of those let to the quietness
We are 1 point off 6th and it's likely it goes down to 8th given city probably win the cup. We were unlikely to get into CL because Liverpool would have only needed about it 8 points from 5 games to wrap that up regardless. 1 point behind 5 games to go it's definitely a possibility still
16 of their 65 have been from free throws
Important steak and 3 from brown as this quarter has had no offensive flow
Definitely! Always such a high intensity player
Good to see Garza getting some minutes, straight away causing problems for them offensive rebounding
Tatum is looking electric that first quarter
Understandable!
They will win 5x as many games here than us if the last 30 years is anything to go by
Yeah don't see that being a long tee thing just something Moyes doing to help him get a game at the time and adding more solid lineup with an extra centre midfielder. Definitely not a long term option there
Same path with Osman, arteta and gosling!
That was always the gamble. He was getting games but always going to be hard to stay in if everyone stayed fit. And with lots at stake can't just give him minutes over others who are better at this point. I'd personally have sent him back but at the same time the games he's will have helped
Different options I imagine. If it's a centre mid replacement he's behind Iroegbunam and Rohl. And if we want an attacking midfield out and out one more of a goal threat then Alcaraz offers that
This is an amazing picture, what a sight that is
Often white pudding with an Irish breakfast!
First derby here, lots of optimism around let's hope it translates into the performance and result!
