I don't chase followers anymore. Sure, seeing my community grow anytime I posted a hit drawing was rewarding, but as my visibility slowly started to fade away before getting slapped by Elon and blue checkmarks, I progressively moved on too. ^^'

In the meantime, I'll continue to talk on twitter about posts related to drawing and animation. With the success I got with my hellaverse fanarts, I started to focus only on that and I kinda forgot I was a multifandom/drawing/animation account at the beginning. It's nice to go back to the sources.

I know it's been a while since my last connexion on this app, I don't have the motivation nor the inspiration to draw new fanarts (the rise of AI made me very careful with my art too), so I'm focusing on my career as an artist with original works and plans for the future.

I'm in love with that deconstruction of "the evil teacher" trope in recent animated movies. As someone who struggled at school and has overall negative memories related to teachers, this really brings me joy. Go watch Leo and That Christmas, those are pretty wholesome movies! 😊

Consent is a very blurred line with yanderes so... In short, what I want to say is: if people don't have problem with other toxic archetypes like pervs or yanderes but cry out heresy or scandal for Valentino in Hazbin to the point of harassing the VA, I find it very deceitful and hypocritical.

If the yandere archetype wasn't popular she would never had that amount of supporters despite her horrible crime. The movie Misery is a good representation that denounces fanaticism and dangerous fixation without any romanization. There is no pretty privilege to excuse the gruesome actions.

Also the problem is the romanticization of fanaticism and toxic power dynamics in real life. I don't know, it screams love deprivation if people truly want to be worshipped to a dangerous degree without caring about the consequences. Yuka takaoka's case is truly the fiction/reality combined.

Thanks for the explanation. For me a protector that can kill you isn't a protector. It's a time bomb. There's nothing wrong with being adored and loved but I draw the line when it becomes obsession and possessiveness. Which seems very common with yanderes 😮

Something robots can't reproduce because you need to be human to understand what can lead to frustration, betrayal, bitterness, nostalgia, love, despair, coping or obsession according to your character's personality and memories while being consistent in the story. Something Arcane does.

Arcane being successful gives me hope about art in general. You can try and suck talent with robots but it won't have any interest beneath the surface. People want pretty things but also love powerful stories and endearing characters. And for that you need soul.
