My first A3 format painting :) The first one that worked out. It is much harder to work on larger formats.

a tan long-haired dachshund with incredibly floofy ears sits with his front paws on a window sill and his nose pressed up against the window. he's accompanied by his stuffed squirrel friend. their reflections stares back at them. Stevie the dachshund does not see the irony in watching for squirrels with his squirrel friend. he's too busy being locked in on the happenings outside his window.

This is Stevie. He's on squirrel watch. His stuffed friend is also a squirrel, but he's one of the good ones. 14/10 (IG: longdogstevie)

This local Wolfdog joined an Olympic ski event and triggered the finish-line camera. This is Nazgul. He snuck into a cross-country skiing sprint this morning and raced the homestretch with some competitors before being escorted home. 14/10 someone get him a medal

A line of bare, dead trees, stand in a straw yellow field of grass with smaller myrtle green eucalypts and acacias scattered in the background. Uluru provides a vast backdrop of rust-red stone, like the flanks of an enormous beast.

 “The difference between a good photographer and a bad photographer has nothing to do with whether one makes better images. A bad photographer is the know-it-all person who judges the work of another photographer as being insignificant, always compares his or her work against the work of others, and who seeks to create divisions in an art form that has always been democratic and ecumenical. A good photographer, though, is the person who takes pleasure in his or her work, as well as the work of others, and who doesn’t see the art of making photographs as a competition but as a personal pursuit instead, regardless of whether they make fantastic images or not. Sadly, there are a lot of bad photographers out there making beautiful images.”
— Edward Weston

A vertical format closeup image made in Antarctica of an iceberg, with ridges running diagonally from bottom left to top right. The ice is scalloped, like scales, and is a turquoise blue colour. There is a light dusting of snow, like icing sugar, along the edge of the ridges in the ice.

#BlueSkyArtShow #cold A closeup of a #blue #iceberg in #Antarctica. I like the scalloped patterns that remind me of scales and the light dusting of snow, like icing sugar, along the edge of the ridges in the #ice.

Javier, our new CEO, wanted to thank everyone for a fun and motivating first week. You all have made his transition process enjoyable. He has much to do but insisted on relaying that his initial numbers indicate that the dogs are all very good and will likely continue to be ❤️

An Adelie penguin stands alone on an iceberg, his flippers out and his head turned to the side as though he's been caught in the middle of a dance move. It's a crystal clear, sunny day, the sky in the background is cloudless blue and there is a hint of turquoise in the iceberg.

Ridges layered in dark blue silhouette as the sun has dipped below the horizon. The last of the light illuminates high, wispy clouds in pink, salmon and orange.

Now in the west the colours change,
the blue with crimson blending;
Behind the far Dividing Range,
the sun is fast descending.
