2024 was rough. I’ve had my fair share of problems but through sport I was able to overcome most of them. I ended the year with backcountry skiing, as the conditions were ideal.
2025 here we come!

Bonjour

It feels very very weird to see the name of my previous company pop up in that video. Wow, nostalgia just hit hard
Can’t wait to try your app. Bluesky deserves a way better client than the current one

Don’t expect a miracle though. It’s much better. But still not as good as I’d expect from a super expensive headset

Oh ok yeah so it’s not actually anchoring but rather keeping the relative position of the apps
Weird that I hadn’t noticed that before, since I was looking closely for that feature to arrive

Are you sure? I remember trying this scenario in 2.0 to no avail

Is it just me or windows and volumes are now persistently anchored across device reboots with visionOS 2.2 beta?

Crazy how this place went from being a wasteland even just a few weeks ago to something more vibrant every day since the US elections

I wonder when someone will build a Vision Pro mod that gets rid of EyeSight, uses a lighter 3D-printed casing and removes the front glass

The design blends well with the rest of the headset! It doesn't look weird or "third-party".

⚠️ It won’t fully solve the weight issue (no accessory can), but it does make it more manageable.

As someone who currently uses the Vision Pro over 5 hours a day, it’s a nice comfort upgrade—better weight distribution, less cheek pressure (though it's not quite what I'd expect in 2024 esp. for a 3999€ device).

I’ve used the AnnaPro head strap V2 for 5 days (~30 hours).
V1 didn’t fit my head -at all-, but V2 comes with 4 cushion sizes, and the 18mm is perfect for me.

At first, I wasn’t sure it helped with comfort, but after removing it, the difference was very clear.

Getting closer to a beta of Page Blanche on TestFlight! I'm quite satisfied with the progress we've made in just 5 weeks.

There's a ton of bugs atm so we'll pause development of new features until we get things right for the first beta.
These 3D scans really shine on Vision Pro.

If we get an Apple Vision in 2025 that's 400 grams and priced at $2000 that's good news, though $1500 would be much, much better IMO.

My concern is about Vision Pro 2: if it comes in 2027 with the same weight as today, it's DOA. It's way too heavy.

Every time I open the app I am reminded that because of the lack of virtual-camera-to-texture API in RealityKit for visionOS, we can’t have a nice gallery of projects and it saddens me. At least ARView had a snapshot() method …

World understanding is good enough for creators to design fun and engaging experiences.

I can def see these being used in museums, classrooms, etc. for educational / cultural experiences, with minimal setup or maintenance! Major challenge for these customer segments will be the price.

Not a fan of the remote controller on iPhone, it was more confusing than anything than useful tbh. Probably an implementation issue - it'll get better with time.

tracking was robust - at some point it lost itself but quickly recovered despite my attempts to make it fail.

I tried half a dozen lenses, trying to find the limits of hand tracking. It's solid! but I really missed eye tracking (thanks, Vision Pro). When this gets eye tracking, input will be 100% a problem of the past.

Snap OS clearly is designed with the hardware's limitations and I really appreciate that. Spectacles focus on doing what they’re great at without pretending to be a general-purpose device. The vertical FOV fits their specific use cases perfectly.

Thank you Snap for letting me try the new Spectacles! I am pleasantly surprised.

They are *much* more comfortable than I expected, though they did mess with my hair - not cool

Hey everyone, sorry to say but at the moment I don’t really appreciate this platform. Follow me on Threads!

VR can be (and is) much more than a toy. It’s part of the Mixed Reality spectrum.

Today marks the 8th year since I've first experienced mixed reality. At the time I was already well into VR, but half an hour with HoloLens 1 convinced me Mixed Reality, not VR, is the future of computing.

I would love to be on this platform a bit more, but without the ability to upload videos it’s pretty much pointless. Most of my content is videos
