Since this was shown in the trailer/ad for the artbook it felt safe to share. This was drawn in '24, early dev, the first time it really felt me, Zach, and JBO understood Frankie, Andi, and the show's tone. I still look at this drawing and think, oh yeah. That's #knightsofguinevere.

I am starting a studio! We are small and scrappy and have no money. Why am I doing this? Because the only ones who can protect art are the ones who value it. Disney using AI? Yuck. Netflix buying WB? Also yuck. In 10 years what is even going to be left.

Story: To save her bedridden ex-military father, Clara must fight the ghosts of the soldiers he killed on the battlefield in a surreal world under her house simply called the Below. She is aided by a mischievous toy nutcracker who represents her innocence and childhood.

Coming soon: Clara & the Below - episode 1 From "Amphibia" creator Matt Braly - an animated gothic horror spin on the Nutcracker full of wintery chills and somber vibes.
