I think that's a bit harsh on Dale although I do wonder sometimes how much of a team player he is given his public displays of enragement. Biggest mystery to me is still Watts who looks completely lost. There the basis of a good team there but summer still needs a shake up.

Harding made one fantastic tackle. Thought he did ok in a duff performance. Dale and Boateng made real efforts. Amaechi did improve us. Patterson stood out as awful but as Cleverly said he was asked to play in a position he can't really do. Watts came on and made absolutely no difference whatsoever.

In game full of strange player decisions, that free kick may have been the strangest.

Muslic knew it.

Barnsley passed the ball around beautifully but thankfully had nothing up front and looked weak in defence. Ok letting them have the ball if they're going nowhere I suppose

I thought Boateng was great again. Does it have to be Gordano though as that's not at all convenient?

Kane's two passes to Curtis were superb. The ball to Watts would have been good if only it hadn't been to Watts. Not loving Hazard on the second is a generous review.

Now there's an interesting point. Coughlan wasn't top scorer that season by accident.

You need a whippet. When shall I bring him round?

He sort of swans around with an unjustifiable arrogance. There was a moment yesterday when he turned into trouble and just passed a ball directly to the opposition striker through on goal. The crowd reaction wasn't just one of annoyance, more that I think every one of us fully expected him to do it.

At risk being unduly negative I'd probably puts Watts at a 4.

And that is out of 100.

Finn hamstring injury?

Ah, I just turned 54. I go back to Tynan and Nisbet. I was at uni for the Castle years so missed a lot of that team but was back in time for the emotional void that was the John Sheridan era

We must be of similar age. My son still has Niall Ennis and Ryan Hardy on his wall. He moans like hell in the Lyndhurst.

He gets it!

I'm third generation of this, my son the fourth. As my late father said, and as I quoted at his funeral, we've all followed Argyle through thin and thin. It does mean we enjoy days like yesterday all the more in a way that people who enjoy constant success just cannot appreciate.

How can this have been so long ago?!?

May have missed the chants, but didn't hear too much "sack the board" today.

Superb cross for the Pepple header too

That'll be "on" and "right footer". I haven't touched a drop either.

I thought Harding did really well. They were picking in the out of position tight footer but he got no help whatsoever from Watts. The Sorinola swap closed that door and we never looked back.

It was -9 a week ago wasn't it? That's quite a turn around.
