I suspect this is all just a distraction show so that people will not notice the horror of the Big Beautiful Bill we all hate, the fact that he has NOT ended the wars he said would end on day 1, Prices have not come down, Tariffs are failing, and he is hiring idiots to run the country Trump fail

The GOP wants to rip away child care programs while at the same time complain that the birth rate is too low. Let us make it harder for you to have children and oh by the way why aren't you having more children ? Do they even realize how dumb that sounds ?

10 months ago 1 0 0 0

This bothers me a lot. I half believed Trump when he said he was going after criminals, murders, rapists, but repeatedly we see him going after kids, 4 year old girl trying to get her cancer cured, etc. Trump's story is nonsense. Per the U.S. Supreme Court Due Process is required.

10 months ago 1 0 0 0

Due Process of law is required, yes, even for migrants so says the U.S. Supreme Court in a recent decision.

At least now Garcia will receive the Due Process he is required to have per the 5th and 14th amendments of the US Constitution.

NEW ANALYSIS: UK's solar power surges 42% to a new record, after the sunniest spring on record

* For the first time, solar was >10% of UK generation in consecutive months (April/May 2025)
* In 2025, solar has already avoided gas imports that would've cost £600m

More encouraging news: Greece is yet another country that has chosen to move away from the burning of coal to generate electricity in favor of solar panels and wind turbines. Thank you Greece !

The Northwest is another region that generates most of its electricity from Wind, Water, and Solar.

Win 15% + Water 37% + Solar 9% = 61% WWS !

Fantastic ! And these numbers are not unusual for the Northwestern Region of the USA.

So can it be done ? Can we have a grid without coal ? Yes ! Look at California ! The California grid uses 1% coal 1% !!!

Here is the daily generation mix for 6/4/ 2025

Wind 11% + Solar 30% + Water 14% = 54% WWS
Add in the geothermal and you have 56% WWSG

Yes, it's a big deal. Since China's CO2 emissions are the highest of any country in the world, when China's emissions start to drop it is a major good thing.

Could this be the biggest climate story of the year?

For the first time on record, China's emissions are falling due to clean energy growth, not slow power demand

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs

We do NOT need war.

10 months ago 1 0 0 0

This is the REAL waste, fraud, and abuse. The already rich NOT paying taxes is the exact opposite of what should happen. We need to the rich to pay more taxes. The poor have no money and therefore cannot pay more taxes. TAX THE RICH to pay down the debt !!!!

Republicans claim to be the party of the workers but after the house passed this new bill that favors the already rich while punishing the lower class the real truth is that Republicans are the party of the wealthy and could care less about the average worker.

At last, some good news! This is a rarity in this day and age so I am going to savor this.

Listen, the wealthiest Americans do not need a tax cut. The millionaire / billionaire class is going to do just fine without this new bill. They are not starving or going without health care. It's those at the bottom who need the help. The already rich will still be rich without this new bill.

Republicans say they will lower the national debt but this new bill actually raises the debt by trillions of dollars, gives tax cuts to the already rich while ripping away essential services like health care to those who are struggling to get by.

I am outraged at this new bill especially since GOP members ran on a platform of lowering the debt and deficit. This bill actually increases the national debt by trillions of dollars while ripping away essential services from the poor and disadvantaged. All to give tax cuts to the already rich.

‘Beyond cruel’: Bernie slams GOP bill that would kick 11 million off health care YouTube video by MSNBC

WATCH: “It's totally unconscionable,” says Sen. Bernie Sanders on the GOP bill that would kick 11 million Americans off health care. “And to do that in order to give massive tax breaks to people today on the top—who have never ever had it so good—is beyond cruel.”

I am shocked and disappointed at the number of representatives coming forward to admit they never even read the bill before they signed it. The Trump administration is just a cult of Trump worshipers blindly following along believing whatever comes out of Trump's mouth. Shame on you.

Including interest, the House bill would boost the nation's debt by $3.1 trillion, according to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, an advocacy group focused on fiscal policy.
