I ran to fight for working Kentuckians and put people over corporate profits. That’s why I’m proud to once again have the endorsement of the Kentucky AFL-CIO.
I’ll keep standing with working people across our state because when workers do well, Kentucky does well.

It’s 4/20, so let’s be real about it.
I support expanding Kentucky’s medical cannabis program and moving toward taxing and regulating marijuana like alcohol.
That means fewer illegal sales, safer communities, and more respect for people’s freedom.
Packed house at today’s Meet the Candidates event at Tates Creek Library.
Grateful to everyone who took time out of their Sunday to show up, ask questions, and stay engaged. This is what a people-powered democracy looks like.
So moving to attend today’s Yom HaShoah service.
We’re fortunate to have Holocaust survivors and their families here in our community carrying these stories forward.
Today’s message was clear: be the ones who stand up when others are targeted, knowing our actions echo into the future.
Another great day engaging with voters in Jessamine County! If you couldn't make it, check out my website at www.kydeservesmoore.com
See you this morning! ☕🍩

I’m incredibly proud of the work my fellow House Democrats put in this session to fight for everyday Kentuckians. However, this year’s session also highlighted a frustrating reality: too many times, the majority chose to put the interests of corporations before the needs of the people.
All session, I pushed for real guardrails on data centers, putting Kentuckians over corporations.
We came up short, and that’s one of the biggest failures of this legislature.

It's day one of the campaign season!
We wrapped up the 2026 legislative session late last night, and I'm ready to start building momentum for a November victory TODAY!

Got home around midnight last night, up at 6am this morning. The session is over, but it's back to normal life with the family, at work, and the beginning of campaign season. Let's go!
About to walk onto the House floor for the last time this session, hopefully not the last time ever.
No matter what happens in November, it’s been an honor to serve.
Thanks, but no thanks! Let's just get me re-elected first then we can talk about other things 😁
Veto day in the House: So far I've voted to uphold 19 of the Governor’s vetoes and override 4.
I proudly stand shoulder to shoulder with Governor Beshear in a vision that moves Kentucky forward, but there will be times we disagree. That’s what representing the 45th means.
Day 59 of 60, the next-to-last day of session.
We've got vetoes, stacks of bills, and plenty of big decisions.
I'm still here fighting for you.
Kentucky’s primary sample ballots are now available! Follow the link to research the candidates who best represent your vision for our Commonwealth.
I don’t have a primary, but I’m excited to earn your vote this November!

This week’s newsletter includes a look at where things stand in Frankfort as the session wraps up, and a few clear ways you can plug in right now.
I’d appreciate you taking a look and getting involved where you can.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. I'm proud to have worked with organizations like GreenHouse17 and RAINN, and to have supported House Bill 134 which addresses the critical shortage of SANE nurses in our state.
If you or someone you know needs help, call 1-800-656-HOPE or text HOPE to 64673.
Great to see a full room at today’s forum. And extra thankful for the 12 folks who stayed to talk and pitch in.
This is what people-powered leadership looks like.

I'm not just a passionate legislator, I'm also a fairly decent fitness coach! 🏋️♂️
Just a fun reminder that we're all normal people with families, jobs, and lives outside of politics.
Reminder: This Saturday I’m hosting a public forum to share updates from Frankfort and hear from you directly.
Stay after the forum until noon if you want to help prep door-knocking materials and get more involved.
Bring a friend and join us. RSVP here:

If we can automatically register Americans for the Selective Service, we can automatically register them to vote.
National defense matters, and so does a secure, accessible democracy.

Had a great time speaking with students in UK’s KLIP program today.
I appreciated the chance to share my experiences as a legislator, especially where the real world lines up with what you learn in a textbook…and where it doesn’t.
The President of the United States just threatened genocide. Will anyone in his party speak up or hold him accountable?
Absolutely!
The budget passed, but the process at the Capitol was chaotic. Rushed votes, backroom changes, and even Bingo on the House floor. Read more in this week’s newsletter.

Easter calls us toward peace and compassion, not anger and threats.
Praying for our nation today.
Trump wants a huge increase in defense spending while cutting 10% from domestic programs like healthcare, education, and housing.
Supporting our military matters. But cutting the very programs that support our veterans, families, and communities back home isn’t "America first."
