DECENTRALIZING NPM!!!!!
ok everyone! been researching an idea for the last two months and i dropped my ideas here in a pr to @npmx.dev.
it's about decentralizing npm, bringing more registries and potentially solving solving the single point of failure nature of npm.

So stoked to be part of this 🥰🎉👇
Nitropage v0.70 is finally out 🚀🤩! Announcement blog post coming next week. This one includes the work from the past 3 months 🤯. The highlight of this release is a whole new element drag and drop UX powered by @alexreardon.bsky.social's Pragmatic Drag and Drop and a ton of fine-tuning by myself.

Looks like some Firefox fan art was the logo "inspiration" 😂🙈
Pleaasse fix your game, NPM!
I really like to keep my releases small 😀👍
Naaa, replacing 6 months of fun and growth with 6 months of just sitting around and consuming brain-frying content is a 👎 for me.
As a human with a likely incurable disease I recommend you to not sit around. Do something with your life!
Great looking work 🚀❤️! This is getting better and better 👏.
One recommendation: for certain use cases you only need the "color-picker" part, without button+modal. So I think having an additional color-picker component that just renders the modal content of color-input could be super useful 🙂.
Start v2, nitro v3, h3 v2
The fullstack tech future looks bright 🚀
Yupp, they have to add back different approaches for different use cases..
If they just allow two approaches, API keys or security keys, they push lots of users towards API keys, which can be a security nightmare if used in the wrong place.
There needs to be a middle ground.
@nadja-hesselbjerg.bsky.social from @zurichjs.com shares:
"It all starts with showing up. (...) You'll realize that the open source world isn't some exclusive club. And if you've already contributed? Help someone else do it too. That's what community is for." 💛
People won't like it, but some truths are undeniable.

Experimental wrappers around split effects that bring back effect composition, onCleanup in effects and a different, arguably more versatile split effect DX 🤠.
The createTrackEffect revolves around reading all signals before you call the "track" callback.

So there is some potential that Solid v3 could get rid of split effects again 😬, maybe after the whole community has migrated all their codebases to them 🤣.
Hearing that there are others out there with similar issues, does help a lot ☺️🙏! One day, one day I will find my way and if I have to wait until @solidjs.com finally has taken the usage lead in the web framework chart, then so be it 😎😂!
Gotcha 😅👍. I hope your hub can somehow avoid the whole ID/age-verification laws that are popping up all over the place 😅🙏.
Holy moly 😲🎉!
Now I kinda wonder what the shareholders will say to these news 😬.
I wonder what architecture you will use (if you do), for the search&exploration of different instances 🤔. A centralized, "governed" registry? A decentralized one (e.g nostr)?
When will my body/health allow me to meet you guys at the JS conferences and please not let it be in my 70s 🫠.
All good 😊🙏, good things take time!
Quick tip: do not use LLMs to write code with alpha/beta libraries. You will have an almost impossible time to figure out if the source of the bugs is the LLM producing garbage, or if it is the alpha/beta library.
The <Suspense> is over.
Solid 2.0 Beta is now released (next tag on npm). 🎉

Here is an idea, if you need a job, just apply as an LLM.
Perks:
- 100% homeoffice
- 100% trust from CEOs and managers
- Lies are not only allowed, they are expected
- No meetings
- No unpayed company events
- Vacation whenever you want: just write "Cloudflare outage"
A website that lets you use nano via browser 😆?
Can I suggest something though: please use vim!
Or maybe they rise from the ashes like a phoenix once the clanker-hype has settled 😃?
These words mean a lot to me in the current situation, thank you from the bottom of my heart Dev ☺️!
