So… I only managed to finish these two books in Feb 🫣 I did enjoy them both very much though & tbh I think that is more important. (Berserk was a reread)

Trying to get some reading done but this one wants cuddles 🥰
Out of all the books that I own, I still think this edition of The Lord of the Rings is one of the most beautiful 😍

I don’t read a lot of non-fiction but two books I read last year that I think everyone should read are “The Centre Cannot Hold” & “The Collected Schizophrenias” - both are brilliantly written books that I can’t recommend enough. Elyn R Saks & Esme Weijun West are two women I look up to.
It was & was so unexpected too😭😭😭
I’ll definitely be watching FMA brotherhood when I finish reading the manga. Good to know that it’s a faithful adaptation.
Finished vol. 4 of Fullmetal Alchemist today & I was not ready for the brothers’ backstory 😭😭😭 This volume made me laugh & cry - can’t wait to continue with this manga.
I need these bookends in my life 🤩
Bridge to Terabithia was the first book that ever made me cry 😭
I’m reading a few ARCs from NetGalley at the moment & I just feel so excited reading them. It is so special having the opportunity to read a book before it is published - especially if it is an anticipated release 🥰

This edition is absolutely stunning 🤩 I loved reading The Neverending Story.
🧵Might not be around a whole lot with the Gaiman information getting circulated so much, but here’s some stuff I do want to say:
Victims of abuse are never foolish or to blame for their abuse.
If you didn’t see it coming, that’s not your fault. Abusers are very good at hiding the harm they cause.
What is a book or series that brings you a lot of joy?
For me Discworld by Terry Pratchett does. It is so funny but also makes me see the world in a different way. I can’t wait to continue with this series ☺️

The Deluxe Editions are my favourite part of my collection - I’m so glad you are collecting them & are able to read & enjoy the story again ☺️ it really is an incredible one.
#Berserk is my favourite story in any medium. It is a masterpiece. I highly recommend you read it if you like:
✨ Dark fantasy
✨ Epic romance
✨ Emotional damage
✨ Monsters/demons
✨ Deep themes surrounding trauma & healing
✨ Epic battle scenes
✨ Significant but rocky character development

It was on my list for ages too. I’m so glad I finally got to it. It was fabulous ☺️ I hope you enjoy it when you get to it.
Finished reading The Bone Season about a week ago, it was my 1st read of the year & I’ve got to say, it may be a contender for the best book of the year - I loved it to bits! 🥰
It might be an unpopular opinion but I actually love reading series that aren’t finished yet. There is just something so special about the anticipation of waiting to see what will happen next & the excitement that comes from a new book being released ☺️

A few including The Ashfire King, The Book that Held Her Heart, A Drop of Corruption, Cursebound, The Buffalo Hunter Hunter, The Dark Mirror & A Language of Dragons ☺️
Thank you so much 😊 I have, my first read of the year was “The Bone Season” by Samantha Shannon - I absolutely fell in love with the story & characters.
Thank you! I’m sure I will, I have lots of amazing books planned for this year ☺️

I’m really looking forward to A Language of Dragons, The Book that Held Her Heart, A Drop of Corruption & The Ashfire King.
I haven’t read any of these ones before but I’d love to know your thoughts on them once you have read them. I hope you have a great reading year! ☺️
It’s a bit like that sometimes 😂 I wish you all the best in your reading journey for this year ☺️
Some advice.
If you're worried your tbr pile looks too big, just move it further away, so it looks smaller
You can then buy more books.

📚What books are on your TBR for 2025?
This is some of my TBR for this year. Hopefully I can get to all of them ☺️ Last year I didn’t do so well but I’m hoping I’ll do better this year.
