We had a roof put on last week. I’m still amazed we managed to hire someone that accomplished this. Last night there was a windstorm and I had a happy dance Snoopy style that we didn’t have to worry about shingles flying all over. Phew adulting is right!

I think the answer is read the fine print bc just like people insurance there are lots of exclusions. Like it doesn’t typically cover routine check ups and vaccines.

Also, this is why I don’t look at Tik Tok. I have neither the psychic nor emotional energy for people’s nonsense.

My grandma read my MA thesis out loud to her group of friends that all lives in the assisted living home together. The comment was “this wasn’t as boring as I thought it would be,” but I think they were having cookies and wine while she read.

We bought one before we moved and took it with us. Stores sell out this time of year.

I had a wonderful time at The WAWH Conference. And we even had time for a field trip.

It’s ok. We are sad but be’s been very sick. He had a lovely last hurrah last week where he acted like his younger self and then went downhill fast last weekend.
