Haven't gotten to actually implement a working server + client. Remains a proof of concept for now.

the domain you use for your server must have the same length as zootycoon.com, else you risk messing up your executable.

ZT2 does not support https, so your MOTD server must use http, which is less secure.

For one, the URL is located in the Zoo Tycoon 2 executable. the ztwebcomponent.xml in the game files does absolutely nothing. You'll need to use a hex editor to change the domain.

Custom MOTD in ZT2? It works conceptually, but it has some limitations.
