Upset about Stede having left him, trying to reinvent himself while having a broken heart, he gets drunk one night, grabs a knife, and gives himself bangs.

Everyone must compliment his new look because they’re terrified of him.

Eventually Izzy helps him “undo” this mistake by using similar color hair from a corpse to create extensions.
