A brown-and-white dog with pointy ears rests his chin and paws on the arm of a couch. He ia the most handsome boy you have ever seen.
Hey @darthbluesky.bsky.social, can you share this picture of Tucker with everybody? He was the best boy and we were completely devastated when we had to put him down Monday morning. He'd love to know that he's famous from the other side of the rainbow bridge!
Wait... wasn't there a fresco in a Pompeii fast food restaurant depicting this very thing?
Oboe player here - same!
For me it's been an issue of the instrument and number of sharps / flats. Mandolin? Give me G, D, and A all day long. Piano or oboe? Give me all the flats. Up to 3 sharps seems doable. More than that is murder. 5 or 6 flats? No problem!
OMG... shout out to all the English / American Literature Majors in my life who will find this belly-achingly awful!

In Kartuli (แฅแแแ แแฃแแ), the language of the Republic of Georgia, plurals are often created by adding the suffix -ebi to the root of a word. In this case, it could be Labubebi (แแแแฃแแแแ), which is really fun to say. (If you speak Kartuli, please correct me if I'm wrong!)
We can only hope.

I love that I can get softshells at my central Florida farmer's market - they're really quite comical to prepare, as they're all limp and droopy before you bread and fry them.
I love the fact that vinyl LP doesn't have a trademarked logo. Or does it?
But have you ever been thrown one of those bubblegum coins? Just when you thought the chocolate was dissapointing...
Such sticky gloves the youths have nowadays. When I was a kid this would've shaved the fingerprints right off the receiver.
No news is... ?
If you haven't heard this yet, Mon Rovia's "Heavy Foot" is the protest song for the moment: youtu.be/xOAeiRQsA4k?...
That's a low, low bar, Tom
Practically a pipe buried in the sand.
Surveys the whole way down...
It's like this in the workplace too! Take a training about using survey software and then they want you take take a survey about the survey software training.
Just wait until you hear about the ivory-billed woodpecker
CLT is the most cursed airport in my experience. Fewer than 50% of my flights have gotten through without a major delay.
Update - I tried it out and there's a layer of foam at the bottom to protect the book corners. @thelynxbooks.bsky.social thought of everything!
There's a layer of foam at the bottom - no damaged corners!
I'll have to give it a try when I get back - I'll let you know!
A grwen vending machine containing books. The writing on the side says "The Lynx, Florida"
A close-up of the cover of Jeff Vander Meer's book "Annihilation." The tag reads "Tallahassee-based Jeff Vander Meer is the pride of Florida's speculative community: this is his chef d' oeuvre"
A spread of many colored book covers displayed in a vending machine. The machine had a label that reads "www.thelynxbooks.com"
I really love this Florida author book vending machine at the Gainesville Regional Airport courtesy of @thelynxbooks.bsky.social. Seeing some favorite authors in there, including @jeffvandermeer.bsky.social and @pluralistic.net.web.brid.gy
All of these are signs that you are doing parenting right!
It is moments like this that you begin to understand why so many have demonized empathy and compassion.
They want us to care so little for others that we will ignore injustices being carried out against them.
It is in moments like these that love for others is revolutionary.
Who was it at the corporation that thought it was a good idea to make the orcas fly?
This is finally one of those days where it's great to be obsessively online
Well... um...
