In retrospect, I should have read some books about writing idiomatic Go instead of researching LLMs for coding tasks. At least, I would have gotten more value out of the same amount of time (esp. when factoring in the time spent trying to get a local model working *at all*).

I wanted to try to use an LLM to perform some coding tasks for my side projects, this is basically how it went:
1. "I just need to subscr... WHAT THE FUCK? $100 PER MONTH?!?!"
2. "Ok, let's try a local model... WHAT THE FUCK? I need HOW FUCKING GBs of RAM to write a simple hello world?!?"

In that case, it would have been a DE-1 or something way more cursed like a DD-9.
