Is it beyond belief that he wasn't pretending to be a cop, but might actually be one?

That's great, but then how do you explain all the upper middle class people in suburbs here in Knoxville still flying Trump flags on their front lawn?

You can literally see the moment she smiles and flips back into politician mode, and that is why we are here.

Oh, I can totally see this SC arguing that a court being able to stay emergency wartime powers limits a president's ability to exercise emergency wartime powers.

NPR, “grew contentious” is not an accurate description. Please stop neutering language to try and appear balanced.

An abandoned school bus in the desert with the stars overhead

An abandoned school bus in the desert with the stars overhead

The Chihuahuan Desert is where school buses go to die. Wander a few miles and chances are you will find one. Hopefully empty in the dark 😬

Found this one in the middle of nowhere just after New Years this year. A cool scene as the constellation Cygnus was setting.

Hey, it’s the spaghetti nebula, 6 times the apparent size of the moon from earth…in reality, it’s 3,000 light years across…2,726,626,160 or so times the size of the moon.

Good to know which companies to avoid buying from, I guess.

Hahaha. Yup. I’ve got a tiny patch of sky visible in my backyard through the trees. When it’s clear, I’ve usually got three scopes going.

Early stages of an image I’m working on. This is a photograph of just the Hydrogen Gas in the center of a popular nebula. For some areas of space I prefer these black and white images. Any guesses on the nebula?

Orion Constellation, Barnard’s Loop, and the Rosette, Christmas Tree and Seagull nebulae.

Orion Constellation, Barnard’s Loop, and the Rosette, Christmas Tree and Seagull nebulae.

Hey, Orion! For half my life this was the only constellation I knew. Pointed my camera at this old friend for a few hours under the dark skies of Big Bend, Texas a couple of weeks ago:

This is stunningly good!

lol. Pretty much. I went through a Timelapse phase where I just photographed only Timelapses. It was almost always shot wide open so I never considered it worth stacking because there were a lot of aberrations in the stars. BlurXterminator has made a lot of that usable now, though.

I’ve never photographed the gas clouds of Rho Ophiuchi, but took a Timelapse a last year. Snowed in this weekend I decided to stack all the Timelapse frames into one image:

Photograph of M31, The Andromeda Galaxy

I just got back from 10 days at Big Bend National Park where I was lucky enough to get 7 clear nights under the darkest skies in the continental US. This image is of M31, The Andromeda Galaxy, taken with 7 hours of exposure time with a Nikon 300mm lens and 1.4x teleconverter.
