words mean things and the propensity of loud, obnoxious people to deliberately muddy the waters around these things by throwing around those words without understanding their meanings is as infuriating as it is unhelpful

like yes, the guy running the botnet and buying accounts to do it is fucking annoying regardless of the validity of his need to do so, but you're not magically lawyers now and you don't understand how those things work
as someone who tracks scams i think it is incredibly bleak that someone with a legitimate need can execute scamlike tactics and suddenly every weird #resist person on here is suddenly an expert in RICO law and the Baker Act, while falling back on the "oh how can i trust palestinians now?" shibboleth

this scammer changed their pinned post to this containing the stock image of the blood sugar meter and the stolen art from a tumblr artist actually suffering from diabetes. both of these images are well-worn and constantly employed by this scammer. please report if you haven't already!

steven mwita is back! i think he got his wires crossed because he's doing the retinoblastoma scam with the wrong paypal name, but it makes spotting him that much easier
