Funny how people‘s behaviour changes in a football match! Spectators giving me vile abuse in the game thinking it is okay to swear at somebody because you’ve paid £10 to get into a ground, but surprisingly quiet as a mouse when I stood next to them in the bar!

To win the league so comfortably, with one of the worst defensive right-backs in the league, is quite an achievement. Well done #LFC

For all problems on the pitch since Jan 2024, it's always worth looking at the bigger picture and, in so many areas, the growth of the club in such a short space of time, without the club acquiring any debt, is staggering

We have a lot to thank him for, he may not have got it all right (who does?!) but he has multiplied the clubs turnover several times, consistently broken our transfer record, and is working on bringing a new investment to make us sustainable in the Championship.

Thank you Mr Hallett.

Describe yourself using 5 things that are probably in your purse/backpack at any given moment

- Too many chargers
- Mints, probably loose
- Random LEGO elements
- Not the right charger
- Passport

This may be a controversial opinion, but I don’t believe that awful football teams who get their captain sent off for Referee abuse are in much of a position to criticise anybody else’s performance 🤷‍♂️

I get it, you’re an Arsenal fan and believe there’s some kind of conspiracy. There isn’t!

It’s nowhere near as bad as Gomes for a second yellow and it’s madness that Lewis-Skelly gets 3x the ban of Gomes, that’s totally unfair.

*studs

Like I said, he really doesn’t mean to do anything but trip but he’s too far away to do it cleanly.

I’ll also add that the Gomes 2nd yellow was WAY worse and should have been a straight red.

Ridiculous that Lewis-Skelly gets 3x the ban Gomes gets.

Video

Here you go - the stuff clearly hit the side of the leg

1 year ago 1 0 2 1

I don’t care if it’s taken by Hubble - you can see in the video too that the studs do make contact with him.

Not with much force at all, but it’s the risk and lack of control that make it a red card.

I’ve seen the video, I’ve watched the full time and replays.

It’s definitely more clumsy than malicious, the still image is only to exactly where the studs DO make contact with the leg.

If he wants to bring him down, he’s too too far away from Doughty to safely “just trip” him up.

I have, and whilst it’s definitely more clumsy that malicious, that’s not what the ref is considering.

The still image in s just to show exactly where the studs make contact with the players leg.
