The alluvium in stream beds below the Borden Formation is one of my favorite places to find amazing minerals! My latest discovery is this little chunk of petrified wood. The top is full of quartz crystals and I cut and polished the bottom.

Billy Corgan may be the Kate Bush of John Lennon's generation but Tori Amos is the Tori Amos of her generation. She has no singular comparison though maybe if you crossed J.S. Bach with Prince and stirred in some Pablo Neruda with a dab of Sondheim, but only if they were all preacher's daughters.
