I really am enjoying seeing Americans buy Canadian products too. Also please feel free to spend your vacation money up in Canada.

Love the sentiment for buying Canadian, or at least anything but American right now. Also thinking, for people who were already struggling to afford groceries, and that US sourced food may start to be discounted to remember that feeding yourself and family is more important.

I made a bit of an effort on my recent trip. Not everything I needed had a Canadian alternative but I put apples back and got a different bag that was Canadian

How I remember being so excited for the Internet to connect everyone in the mid 90s. It's been such an overarching disappointment.

Where'd you get the bulk of your moral influence growing up? For me, Star Trek, Little House on the Prairie, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman were a few big influencers that spring to mind. Also got "street smarts" from Degrassi and The after school specials.

Had a few days down in Vegas, primary event was seeing The Killers at the colosseum. The venue was incredible and the show was the best concert I've ever been to! We spoiled ourselves with some foodie experiences and saw some cool artistic venues (highlight Area 15)

Vacation mode activated

Pushed the kids out today to hang out with their grandparents and some nature. Looks like they all had a great time

I tried some press on nails last night. And failed. I admit probably an element of user error but I couldn't get them to adhere on the edges well and the LM being glued on top of my nail I found painful. Took them all off this morning already.

Only made it to about 11pmish last night but my Kids and Husband stayed up to see the New Year in. Sitting in my fuzzy PJs with tea after having had leftover Chinese food for breakfast. Hello 2025

Starts off strong but the last 2 seasons a little silly, although still good storytelling

2024, you were a mixed year. Some great achievements at work and a meaningful volunteer recognition. Some wins and worries over my children (but would I ever not worry?), and some sadness, loss of friends and family. 2024 was a bit much on losing people too early.
