From #RSD in 2018. That was the last time we had a record shop in town and I did the queuing thing. Now I’d have to travel so far it’s cheaper to buy in the resale market if I want anything. Can’t support your local independent record store if you don’t have one. Hope all the shops did well 🤞
Odd that I bought this #RSD release as I’m not much into picture discs (they look so pretty!) with their awful background noise. Must’ve been seduced by the demo version of The Watchmaker. And who wouldn’t be. What a track

That was the b-side to my Red Guitar 12” which I still regret selling
I had tickets for their first ever Irish show in Dublin. It was just post Covid and the relaxing of rules was staggered. Anyway. The capacity for their show was reduced to about 100 people so they cancelled. I was gutted!
Aha! That’s where PT recorded that live release. Must be a reasonably small venue?
I’m still mad at Bruce and Gav. It seems they can make it pay to go half way across the world but have yet to play a single show a few miles over the water here in Ireland. Destined to never see them 😩

I met Gavin Harrison over breakfast in London before the Porcupine Tree show. I’m a bit disappointed Gavin didn’t remember our 10 second uncomfortable interaction well enough to send me an advance copy!

It’s true and some of those are ridiculous these days (props to Brentford for getting 55 million first Wissa)
But we need to be smarter in selling our assets. Hall and Miley, at current age and stage of development, should simply be ‘unsellable’ and especially not to strengthen EPL competitors

I get that our model is going to involve a significant sale most summers. But not this type of profile, until such times as it suits NUFC. Selling a mid to late 20’s star player at their peak for highest possible worth, ok with that. But not our top young uns!
