The truer the story the more they scream it's a lie and the bigger the lawsuit. He's never even going to get to discovery which he thinks will get him the names of who snitched on him.

I didn't even know Blueberry Hill was open that early. Good to know. Bon voyage!

It should but unfortunately the bells it should ring are dumb-bells.

I just googled how long the Vegas Sphere took and it was 5 years from ground breaking in 2018 but that includes the COVID shutdown and subsequent supply chain hell. I'm going to guess that the second time around and with no external slow downs it could be just three years.

And just like AI that's always agreeing with you it is really just after your money.

Doesn't he know he could probably have read it on the LibbyApp for free with the local library card?

Some snowflakes are all year round. I seem to attract them.

Indeed, I'm struggling to think of the last time I heard about an atheist shooting up some place or murdering a doctor "in god's name"

I agree. It should be marketed appropriately in a way even MAGA can swallow it. Make Criminals Cry? Make Gas Gougers Pay?

Sounds about right. As I get older 5 years starts to feel like a long time πŸ˜‚

You know that there will be MAGA Trumpians (definitely not worthy of the C word) who would love to have a Mar-a-lago shroud on their wall.

I think history disagrees - it was and still is fascism as recently manifest by Brexit... the gift that keeps on giving.

A view of the Las Vegas Strip I'm sure you've never seen before.

β€œIt's Not Legal”: Pilot Files Lawsuit Over Palm Beach Airport’s Renaming After Donald Trump The lawsuit against renaming Palm Beach International Airport after Donald Trump raises questions about the $5.5 million cost and safety concerns.

Please stop making public infrastructure after people? It's often years later people discover a shady past of that person but in this case we already know he's a convicted felon, adjudicated rapist, and protector of pedophiles. If you want your airport named after him that says a lot about you too.

I'm pretty sure it's going to happen eventually. No more risk of the pacer deciding not to drop out and taking the race from you. But be suspicious of any rich tech friends who suddenly start logging incredible times...

Depends on your definition of "soon". They take a long time to build and then get running. Plus you have to deal with all the NIMBYs who will fight having it anywhere within their line of sight - you can see the Vegas Sphere from many miles away.

Beijing E-Town humanoid robot half-marathon kicks off
Beijing E-Town humanoid robot half-marathon kicks off YouTube video by New China TV

I look forward to running my next race with a robot pacer that can keep the perfect pace and split times I selected. Even better would be if it hands out fluids and food to me on demand.

If anyone is committing a crime here it's the employers exploiting laborers. The laborers are just trying to live and that should not be a crime.

U.S. startup debuts low-cost, plug-and-play indoor heat pump for residential use San Francisco-based Merino Energy has launched the Merino Mono, a plug-and-play indoor heat pump that can be installed in under an hour and is priced at a flat $3,800 including installation.

$3800 is a very high price for 7800 BTU of cooling from what is essentially a gussied up window unit that would cost $500 or less (I just bought one)

It does include installation and I'm sure some people get charged $2500 or more for that kind of thing.

We've definitely been paying to have the FBI minders pick Kash Patel off the floor after going on a bender at the Poodle Room.

Not a fan of the execution of the last third. And there was a fourth or fifth that should have existed.

3 days ago 1 0 0 0

Haha, I didn't even think of that.

3 days ago 0 0 0 0

I'm with you on the last third, i just wanted it to end. And then when it did end i was like, wait what, that's the end? Definitely a Sopranos / Italian Job kind of ending.

I felt the same way with the ending of Snowcrash. I liked the first 2/3 of Seveneves but the last third dragged and then it ended suddenly with seemingly half the story left untold. Not to mention we never learned why the moon blew up - I figured that would be the surprise everyone talks about.
