I am headed to Argentina in a few days to start researching what I hope will be my 3rd monograph. I am super excited to start this new project on my mom’s home town!

My work at UCLA past week and the HAHR if you are interested.
Hello fellow Asthmatics! I’m traveling to 🇦🇷 for 3 months and have to take my refrigerated meds. Any suggestion to how to fly internationally with a 90 day supply? I have it, but how to I keep it cold? I have to carry at least 6 pens. #asthma, #insulin #glp-1
Tomorrow!!! I’m super excited. @upittpress.bsky.social
I have been on Dupixent for about a year and a half. It’s still working. I still landed in the ER twice in January though. But I didn’t have any luck with Tezspire. I have noneosinophilic asthma. It’s a nightmare to control. I’m so overwhelmed with this condition!
Ugh, Asthma. The worst. I had to take a partial medical leave of absence this semester because of my asthma. People do not understand how horrid I can be. Are you on steroids? Be safe. It is the worst it end up in the ER away from home. I did in Miami once. It was terrible.
Congratulations!!!🍾
You are right on point.
My department has gone from 15 full time historians to 6 - we will be 5 in a year! We have no full time pre-1860 US historian. And zero prospects of getting one. It’s awful.

Felicidades!!!’
Excited that me and my co author got green lighted to submit our project on Paraguay to Queer Histories. This will be the first project they will have on South America!
OMG!
OMG, this so reminds of the Falklands in Argentina in 1982. UGH. I can't stand it. My childhood memories of that are not good.
Ugh. I’m sorry.
I’m so grateful my daughter is Canadian through her father. She has options.
Some of publishing is just plain luck.
A list of Request Declined from my screen.
Being a journal editor is a nightmare in this age of overwork. I just can't find anyone to review this work. AHHHH
I had a student tell me the twentieth century was “so weird.” I was in shock for 20 minutes recovering from this statement.
I remember learning in grad school that they would burn the ships and then take all the metal components and rebuild on the other side.
They are sooo gonna use it. It’s gonna be a nightmare.

OMG! 😨
The wannabe fascist embodies an incomplete version of fascism. Adopting a messianic style, this type of leader despises any type of deep thinking. For them there is no big picture. Idiocy, extreme narcissism, and an ability to manipulate people and institutions go hand in hand.
Monday I start working on revisions for the book. Excited to have this opportunity. @upittpress.bsky.social
Why is there more information on asthmatic cats on here than asthmatic humans? Nothing against cats, but…. #asthma
A short story about Paraguay. I wrote this a ways back, but it was fun to look at it again and see my creative side. I'm not always a "academic." Sometime I just write for pure enjoyment.

Ugh. Wait til 50! It’s bad. Really bad. Definitely not good. Hahaha
Keep at it. I have one like too. I just keep at it. It’s a wired piece, but I think eventually it will find a home.
This was a great read.
