Finally seeing how they crafted the 3rd act in Way of Water is kind of breaking my brain. The sheer technical elements before even factoring in having to act. Especially for tiny Trinity being only 8 years old 😭😭
I watched it right before the second trailer came out and literally one of my main take aways was “I wonder they’ll examine tsaheylu in a darker way” and then boom we saw it in the trailer😭 I think it can give you a good idea abt where cameron might want to take things/his perspective
But I do want to put a warning that there is an SA scene that’s pretty jarring, however it is essential to the plot so you can’t skip it
Only popping in to recommend the movie Strange Days (1995) written by james cameron and directed by Kathryn Bigelow. A lot of the concepts in this movie are like if avatar was darker (tsaheylu, the avatar driver program) and I think some of my moots here would appreciate the darker look
