So sad that under current NIH leadership, rather than enhancing review this policy change threatens NIH’s highly respected peer review process and its ability to advance biomedical science and improve the public’s health. Is this how we promote “gold standard” science?

Such a destructive policy change! When I worked at NIH we sought ways to increase the recruitment of reviewers, not discourage this important voluntary service from our extramural colleagues.

Dr. Bhattacharya, your targeting of NIH scientists for speaking out & exercising their free speech rights is shameful.
