When your eyes start getting bad just get them. I was taking my glasses off and about had my nose to the paper trying to see to ink and that sucked much more than admitting I needed bifocals.
Get progressive lenses they are totally worth the money!! Very minor adjustment period to get used to them.

The demons are mostly pretty silly with very "Halloween mask" looking faces (only the demon king is kinda scary and he is a talking bonfire). The fight scenes are mostly fancy choreography and when demons die they just sorta explode into confetti like pinatas. He'll probly love the derpy tiger!
