YIPPEEEEE happy birthday!!!

I’m gonna print this out and tape it to the ceiling above my bed so it’s the first thing I see when I wake up in the morning… never getting over how fucking GOOD this is aauuAAUAHGHH

He's looking up at him, a look of confusion and suffering on his face. He looks soft, vulnerable, as he leans against the other man. Vander is looking down towards him, his expression soft as he shows him a small comforting smile. Only Vander speaks. He says: "Well, aren't you a sight for sore eyes? Are you alright?". Silco nods, unable or maybe unwilling to actually speak. Vander continues: "Good- relax now, birdie. You're safe- I got you."

i KNOW it's April, but when I got the chance to pinch hit for a vanco secret santa for @bogblite.bsky.social and the prompt was hurt/comfort with silco being the one hurt and vulnerable....... merry christmas to me and everyone and ESPECIALLY Bogg. enjoy!

too many ideas, never enough time and brainpower for all of them… augh 😭

vander is impressed and chooses to spare him. the crowd likes that and sees it as noble, so as a reward, vander is given silco as a “prize.” bonus points if silco disliked vander up until then, but is relieved to find vander treats him like an actual human instead of property -> queue romance

OOO okay walk with me here… he starts off a servant/slave tending to all the gladiators. then he gets caught doing smth (maybe stealing from the owners, maybe insider gambling on the fights) and is set to be executed, and vander is chosen to do it. when he fights back (maybe gives a speech too?),

I do also like the ideas of him being either a servant responsible for tending to vander + the other gladiators, or him being some kind of “prize” to be won— maybe he starts off as one of those two before getting caught committing a crime, leading to his scheduled execution in the arena?

seconding the people saying a captured criminal set to be executed in the colosseum! maybe he manages to fight back as vander is attempting to kill him, and that act of boldness gets him spared and recruited as a gladiator or smth, idk

yeah this was always my take on it too! it kinda feels like he was only working with singed for shimmer specifically, so while he was probably aware that singed was doing other experiments, he didn’t know what they were/the full extent of them
