Note that once we turn off 3g, 111 mightn’t work on mobile if you have a parallel imported handset which doesn’t have the right settings for emergency calling. It uses different settings to normal calls, so many folks don’t realise it’s broken.

That’s why in AU they kicked a bunch off the networks.

A drop down green screen would have been an easier way to get a good zoom background

Don’t they require specific woks that fit the geometry? That’d be annoying.

I watched a courier driver on a map once, and when he got to the KFC drive through I got a “you were not home” delivery failed notification haha.

I wonder how many times they’ve revised the headline.. this is what it shows up as for me, but the link is something else..

I lived with him for a couple of years. Some friends and I were recently wondering where he’d ended up. We’d assumed Thailand or something. Thanks for the good work.

Not at anything like home internet pricing if you want satellite, unfortunately.

There may be some fixed wireless options. Check broadband map.

Mayor Pete follows 9 people on here. Of course one of those is xkcd. I shouldn’t have laughed out loud because of course.

I wonder if it’s got silver duck tape over the logo

Pretty sure that’s a Windows thing, when it sees that device type or whatever it downloads and runs the relevant driver installer, rather than the device itself providing the code.

I remember seeing this a while back and being surprised too. I think the lowest one is 7m or something. Not great but apparently fine. Not something I’d want to put money in to though.

Ask them and report back.

They seem to be in Canada a lot, but a photographer who shot the car tagged this profile so seems to be the one.

My Apple Watch works on OneNZ. Had to change to a modern plan (mine was ~8 years old), but it’s supported.

I assume other smart watches work too.

Wait that’s super weird. It should be the safari engine in Bluesky! Maybe it’s got a memory limit or something funny.

Tried to load the site but it keeps getting errors and reloading, then eventually gives up. This is with the Bluesky browser on iPhone.

I wonder if this new word ends up being used when project managers try to say technical or security risks are acceptable?
