Does anyone remember when ๐จ๐ฆ Global TV's Prime channel would add "on Prime" to the title card of all the shows they ran?

Insurance company: Claim denied. You did not provide a receipt.
Called the insurance company.
GREAT call centre rep ๐.
Me: Can you see the documents I submitted?
Rep: Yes.
Me: Is there a receipt there?
Rep: Yes. I see it ... I'm sorry. I'll send it back to Claims & I'll email you right now.
Ever have a channel you follow slowly start to show signs it's extremely problematic? Had one today where the subtext suddenly started pivoting to "poor people are lazy" and "social programs are bad" in two videos.

Yikes
I don't think the injured 15 year old is on the team. The team is supporting his recovery and safety awareness.
I can't believe you didn't cover something that wasn't the subject of the video!
I have a fake old lady account I use for some market testing purposes and hers is the same thing.
Phone zombie walking its kids. Me walking my dog. Kids run towards my dog, I pull dog back. Yell at phone zombie to "watch your kids."
Phone zombie doesn't look up or acknowledge.
Kids could be squished by car or kidnapped. Phone zombie wouldn't notice.
Why, in 2026, does Microsoft Excel still randomly assume that one wants to "paste" a cell into all 999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999 rows of a spreadsheet and hang for 10 minutes as a result?
App gays be like "why'd you stop replying" when their last four responses to you were:

IK, IK, IK. My "next" car "was" going to be at least a hybrid. Then that car got smashed prematurely by a texting driver. So for me it's more cost effective to have one fully-paid-off gasoline-powered car than a car loan on a new EV.
Green circular signs, each about 30โ40 cm in diameter, mounted side-by-side on a pole approximately 2โ2.5 m above ground, showing pedestrian and bicycle symbols indicating a shared walking and cycling path.
I know my city (Vancouver) likes to be polite and subtle, but I regularly think these signs are too polite and too subtle to clearly indicate traffic. They're a little too high and a little too vague.
Don't think logically, just agree with the shrill nimby yelling at city council.

I once worked in a place that brought in leadership speaker who said repeatedly a "firm fabric collar" was the key to success.
I guess... not people skills, not problem-solving skills, not conflict skills, but a firm fabric collar.
That speaker's weird speech has always stuck with me.

Anyone else block YouTube channels that use AI voices for everything? And I don't mean for the translations.
Cackling in a meeting this morning for some placeholder text reading "You have been awarded the Vanna White Memorial Scholarship valued at $0.01..."
Research suggests that receiving excessive approval from AI systems could encourage uncouth behaviour in people.

Concerns that TikTok would be used by a corrupt regime for nefarious purposes were well-founded. Only it wasnโt China that would do it, it is the United States.
It remains wild how the former minister of immigration thought that setting rapid, simultaneous fire to all the bridges leading into the kingdom would affect just subtle and nuanced redistributions in immigration. #CdnPSE #internationaleducation www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

Sounds like be I'll be choosing Pepsi for the foreseeable future.
My biggest win this morning may be remembering to put the "e" in "grinder" when messaging my coworkers about a new coffee machine.
Even if I did have to re-type it twice.
I swear when this post first appeared, it said "hostility-led" concept space.
I love keeping Meta and Google off-balance about what my education history is, so it'll serve me up ads for everything from adult upgrading to online MBAs to hair school.
Why's it always someone like this in a sponsored video telling me how natural & subtle their clinic's aesthetics treatments are? ๐
My wallpaper for this particular contact always makes it obvious who and what they're calling to talk about. ๐ ๐ ๐
