Last night I said Michael was raining on the Democrats’ parade re: the NYC mayoral primary and he said it was a parade walking in circles 😭🤣 Come for the banter and stay for the reminder that democrats have figured out what works for them post 2024.
The people aren’t with the same old same old. They know they deserve more and want it. They want candidates who actually knock on doors and earn votes. They want something to vote for and not just against. They want a vision and an understanding of their issues - like the rent being too damn high.
What the Trump Administration is not saying about taking military action in Iran is actually very telling. In my experience, the comms strategy is a choice. We can learn a lot if we just pay attention.
The next few days and weeks will be important. What Congress does (Republicans and Democrats) as well as world leaders and the intelligence community will reverberate for years to come.
