I love Ralph Bakshi's works. I will say, if you are not used to them, his use of natural dialogue can be absolutely jarring and feel 'cheap'.

He is a street level animator that brings a core scrappiness to his work that feels more powerful because it all still has his voice, rough edges and all.

I have this head canon movie idea where Camp Krystal Lake stops allowing teenagers and converts to a children's camp, and someone brings Chucky along, so after initially fighting (because fanservice) Chucky and Jason become super good friends and proceed to hunt through the camp.
